I have quite a number of favorite songs - some classic, some pop, some rap and some mellow. As mellow and as cultured as Sandpiper’s Try to remember the kind of September. It’s a song about life. It’s a song about how we should make memories and celebrations because one day when we’ll reach our December, our end, we have something to recollect and follow, follow down the road of our reminiscences.

I’m just sad this kind of classic is not just available in commercial Karaoke chips, how could they not include this? This kind of songs warrant a glass of martini with three olives in it before that peak music stands at guitar center take center stage.

I can do this. Interested to sing with me? Then let’s get nostalgic.

Try to remember the kind of September
When life was slow and oh, so mellow
Try to remember the kind of September
When grass was green and grain was yellow
Try to remember the kind of September
When you were a tender and callow fellow
Try to remember and if you remember
Then follow, follow.

Try to remember when life was so tender
That no one wept except the willow
Try to remember the time of September
When love was an ember about to billow
Try to remember and if you remember
Then follow, follow.

Deep in December It's nice to remember
Although you know the snow will follow
Deep in December It's nice to remember
The fire of September that made us mellow
Deep in December our hearts should remember
And follow, follow, follow...
